Full Stack Web Developer

About

I am a web developer and graduate of the Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly in Melbourne. My work and learning history has provided me with a variety of practical business and web application development skills which I could bring to your organisation. I believe this opportunity fits perfectly with my career aspirations and goals as I take the next step and build upon my existing knowledge of the modern 'full stack' which includes but is not limited to HTML/CSS, JavaScript and React in the front end and Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Express.js and Postgres/SQL on the server side. Additionally, I’ve had exposure to, and have a solid working knowledge of MVC design patterns and have recently gained some experience in the 'JAMstack' leveraging static site generators deployed on Netlify.

I am eager to learn, grow and contribute my own ideas and I work well in a collaborative team environment and derive much inspiration from group discussions, but can also happily work independently when required. I consider myself to be results and customer focused with a natural curiosity and a strong work ethic, while being the type of person that thrives on learning and applying themselves to new technologies and systems.

My goal is to become a valued contributor for startups and/or established businesses requiring a highly motivated, passionate technologist with a willingness to learn and an easy going attitude.
